Canons of St. John of Damascus from the complete Octoechos (Parakletike) in modes 5 to 8, for daily use. Leaf 179a, Canon of the Presentation of the Theotokos to the Temple in the fourth mode by Georgios, Metropolitan of Nicomedia and Bithynia. Leaf 182a, a second Canon for the Presentation of the Theotokos in the first mode by Vasilije Pegariot. Inscription on leaf 184a dated 7069 (1561, the approximate date of copying) about the presentation of the manuscript. Leaf 185a, inscription about the binding dated 7210 (1702), referring to the manuscript as an octoechos. Forms a pair with Ms. Hil. 137 (modes 1-4). Ornamented headings.
